About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking civil labourer to join our ACT based telecommunications team.


The role will see you:

  • Assisting in the installation of telecommunications infrastructure, including cabling, pits, and other equipment.
  • Performing manual labour tasks, such as hand digging trenches, laying conduit, and back filling trenches.
  • Assisting in the preparation and cleanup of work sites, including the removal of debris and waste materials.
  • Operating hand and power tools, as well as small equipment, such as compressors and generators.
  • Following safety procedures and ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order and reporting any equipment faults or damage to the supervisor.
  • Following company policies and procedures, including completing all necessary paperwork and reporting any incidents or accidents.

Does this sound like you:


  • Experience in civil labouring or a related field, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools and equipment.
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transportation to and from work sites.
  • Truck Licence (LR/HR) would be preferable.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary.
  • A commitment to safety procedures.

Working Conditions:


The work environment does include outdoor work in all weather conditions and requires the use of personal protective equipment, including safety boots, hard hat, and high-visibility clothing.

The job may also require lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces. Reasonable fitness levels will be required. Trucks/utes are provided strictly as tools of trade (TOT). The position may involve travel to different work sites and other regions.


Due to the nature of our business, you are required to be an Australian Citizen or hold an unrestricted working Visa.

You may also be required to undertake a National Police Check.
