About the Role


Wallenius Wilhelmsen is looking for a team orientated Yard Person to assist in the co-ordination of incoming and outgoing high and heavy machinery and equipment, placement and quality check status in our yard, in accordance with written work instructions ensuring the company can meet its promise to its customers of providing a second to none inspection service.

The incumbent will work in a way that actively promotes the company's commitment to reach for the highest standards of Workplace Health & Safety by adhering to organisational OHS systems, procedures and policies.


Job Requirements:

Duties include:


  • Unpack from shipping containers and unload from trucks various forms of Agricultural Machinery & Equipment.
  • Frequent forklift operation to handle a wide range of products.
  • Prepare vehicles/machines for dispatch including retrieving from yard, pressure washing, detailing and inspecting to ensure all units are in as new condition.
  • Drive vehicles/machinery for the purpose of location movement within the EPC.
  • Completing regular inspections and preservations on product that is stored for longer periods of time.
  • Complete quality inspections and audits of a wide range of products to ensure that the condition and presentation of these units meet our customer requirements.
  • Assisting in completing stocktakes of machinery located at the EPC.
  • A strong willingness to help others and show initiative by looking at improving what we do every day.
