Sales Operations Manager

This role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

In a typical day as an Operational Account Manager, you would

  • Manage a team for subregion or region by monitoring and/or setting performance goals and objectives, staffing program and project teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of client solutions
  • Be at the forefront of Identifying opportunities to improve customer / partner satisfaction & effectiveness and to bring greater value to the business.
  • Work closely with an account management team to set priorities; motivates, coaches, and fosters creativity within teams
  • Provide guidance on priority projects and/or initiatives of moderate to high complexity
  • Set strategies within area of responsibility and identifies program improvement areas
  • Lead projects and corporate initiatives at the subregional or regional level; perform risk assessments, define project scopes, and determine resources needed
  • Communicate and consult with business managers and advise clients in the successful implementation of business recommendations, while effectively overseeing the account management process
  • Represent HPE to internal and external stakeholders, such as management and external clients on all account management matters
  • Provide management direction and support to operational performance reviews with customers/partners on senior management level and hold responsibility for the execution of agreed improvement plans
  • Adhering to HPE's compliance & controls.
If you are

  • Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen. You are aligned to our core values.
  • Holding a firstlevel university degree or equivalent experience
  • Understanding the company's business and budget planning cycle
  • Able to understand and interpret customer needs and translate them into workable programs
  • Experienced in people management, i.e. attracting, retaining and developing a talented workforce including goal setting and performance management
  • Holding very strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including competency in financial analyses
  • An excellent project manager with exceptional problem solving skills
  • Excellent in communication and presentation skills, including both written and verbal forms in English and local language as well
