- $84,670 - $96,267 per annum, plus an additional 15.4% Superannuation


The Bureau of Meteorology is seeking a capable Project and Contract Coordinator to support the development and delivery of opportunities and small projects for the Agriculture Section.

The role will complement a highly creative team of Customer Leads by collaborating to initiate new projects that will create significant new value for Australia's agriculture sector.


The Project and Contract Coordinator will also take responsibility for managing small strategic projects that don't require a fulltime Project Manager.

They will maintain oversight of all contracts across the agriculture portfolio, reporting risks and issues to the Agriculture Team Leader (EL2)
The position will suit a process-oriented mind, who takes pleasure in getting the details right.

They should be adaptable and prepared to work in an environment where program and project methodology is developing, seeking to be a participant and leader in shaping processes and templates.

They should have strong relationship management skills and understand how to tailor governance and processes based on each project's characteristics to ensure the right level of control.

An ability to develop agreements and arrangements between agencies, conduct business analytics, and understand a quality management process is desirable.

The Agriculture Team is spread across Australia and aims to connect in person four times per year. As such, interstate travel will be required to engage with our colleagues, partners, and customers.
