Business Administration Traineeship - IT Department

80 hours per fortnight + a monthly ADO (part time negotiable)

About the role
Grampians Health has an exciting Business Administration Traineeship opportunity for those looking to start or restart their career


The program, which is undertaken in conjunction with BGT (training provider) will commence in mid-June 2023 for a 12 month, fixed-term period with successful applicants being enrolled in Certificate III upon commencement.


As a trainee you will work five days per week with dedicated study days and you will receive on-the-job training to put your study into practice.

As an Business Administration Trainee in the I.T department, your role will involve a diverse range of responsibilities.

  • Administer purchasing/procurement and the receipt of deliveries for requesters and the IT department.
  • Support the IT management team with organising and preparing meetings and agendas.
  • Assist in the coordination of new IT user accounts
  • Monitor the IT phone system, ensuring all incoming calls are answered and information is logged with in the ITSM tools.

Requirements/Eligibility

  • Must meet criteria for eligibility in the Traineeship Certificate III Business Administration
  • Must meet the Australian Governments Apprenticeship criteria
  • Successful completion of the Language, Literacy and Numeracy requirements
