We are looking to appoint a safety and performance driven Production Supervisor to join our Austral Masonry Plant in Caloundra, Queensland. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for directing the manufacturing operations performed onsite ensuring the factory reaches volume, quality and cost/efficiency goals without compromising on safety. This role is also responsible for organising and monitoring workflow on the production floor and identifying improvements in employee efficiency to maximise production output and profits.

Duties include, but are not limited to:***- Lead team to meet safety, quality, efficiency, and customer goals.

Manage and supervise production lines and facilities.
Communicate shift standards and schedules.
Collaborate with various departments for optimal production.
Control production costs and maintain compliance.
Coordinate machinery maintenance.
Monitor materials quality and assist with audits.
Drive costsaving initiatives.
Forecast labour needs and enhance engagement.
Ensure operator recognition, training and discipline.
Ensure safe operations in accordance with WHS policies and procedures.

Success Requirements

Organisational prowess for efficient production.
Effective plant operations management.
Strong problemsolving abilities.
Prior block manufacturing experience preferred.
