An exciting and dynamic position has been created for 6 month fixed term contract - Communications Coordinator.

Working across our digital, media and communication requirements, you will have experience in media management, writing, designing and managing the narrative in complex environments.

Description


The Communications Officer is responsible for developing and implementing internal communications and engagement programs which connect employees with DFR's vision, values, goals and priorities, and how they contribute and drive performance.

As the new Communications officer your role will be to build trusted and collaborative relationships with business leaders.

This involves understanding their business priorities and helping them communicate these priorities to their team in a relevant and meaningful way.

You will guide and coach leaders on how to communicate with impact, conveying their messages with authenticity, credibility, and confidence.


You will:

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Execute media and communication plans in conjunction with the overall strategic plan and objectives
  • Engage with stakeholders to work on a bespoke internal communications approach
  • Develop and execute media plans and coordinate media launches with the broader media team
  • Generate positive media publicity around key events and announcements
  • Produce speaking notes for keynote speakers at major events and functions
  • Monitor and drive key campaign metrics and continually measure success
  • Engage with key Executive on communication reporting

Profile

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a fast paced, complex and challenging environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and execute tasks to meet deadlines whilst balancing competing demands
  • Ability to work with limited direction to initiate and implement ideas and concepts through to delivery
  • Enthusiasm and a highlevel of selfmotivation and initiative, both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Consistently proactive and adept at working in fastpaced environments
