About the role:

Do you have a passion for crafting and executing strategies, policies, and projects that fortify our critical technologies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a permanent Cyber Security Project Officer


As a permanent Cyber Security Project Officer, you will play a vital role in strengthening our nation's cyber capabilities in state.

Your main responsibility will be to contribute to the development and execution of high-level strategies, policies, and projects that align with the Government's agenda and departmental outcomes.


Your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping forward-looking plans that identify opportunities and foster cross-government collaboration to support economic growth.


Key Selection Criteria:


  • Strong knowledge of the Cyber Security Industry and Critical Technologies sectors.
  • Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with people at all levels including proven ability to advise, consult, liaise and influence, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communicator with high level written communication skills, including the ability to develop strategic documents for Cabinet and Parliamentary processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships within the Cyber Security Industry and Critical Technologies sectors.

Remuneration:

Competitive salary (ASO6 $95,588 min - $101,109 max pa) plus superannuation

Qualifications:

Project management qualifications and experience preferred.

Previous experience working in the Public Sector is desirable.

  • The role will be offered on an ongoing basis
  • Satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check (NPC) required prior to employment.
