About the role:

Do you have a passion for crafting and executing strategies, policies, and projects that fortify our critical technologies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a permanent Cyber Security Project Officer

As a permanent Cyber Security Project Officer, you will play a vital role in strengthening our nation's cyber capabilities in state.

Your main responsibility will be to contribute to the development and execution of high-level strategies, policies, and projects that align with the Government's agenda and departmental outcomes.

Your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping forward-looking plans that identify opportunities and foster cross-government collaboration to support economic growth.

Key Selection Criteria:

Strong knowledge of the Cyber Security Industry and Critical Technologies sectors.
Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with people at all levels including proven ability to advise, consult, liaise and influence, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Strong communicator with high level written communication skills, including the ability to develop strategic documents for Cabinet and Parliamentary processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships within the Cyber Security Industry and Critical Technologies sectors.

Remuneration:

Competitive salary (ASO6 $95,588 min - $101,109 max pa) plus superannuation

Qualifications:

Project management qualifications and experience preferred.

Previous experience working in the Public Sector is desirable.

Special Conditions:

The role will be offered on an ongoing basis
Satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check (NPC) required prior to employment.
