EPM Technical Specialist
- $800-$1000 per day + Super

About the role:


The EPM Technical Specialist will develop Oracle EPM Application or EPM Cloud solution including the design, development, testing, deployment and support.


This position is a 6 month contract paying up to $800-$1000 per day + Super and is based in Chatswood.


Key responsibilities:


  • Translate highlevel business requirements, solution design and user requirements defined in functional specifications into quality technical specifications and technical artefacts or components, (including configuration and integrations) to meet suitable business requirements and design.
  • Build, test and deploy technical components adhering to System Development Life Cycle, Development Standards, Guidelines and Agile Framework to meet business and process requirements.
  • Prepare technical documentation and other relevant project documentation according the governance standards using a broad range of engagement techniques including, data and systems analysis, requirements workshops, site visits, process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints, with simple, clear, unambiguous and concise language.
  • Development data and business models and data item content relevant to the assignment, specifications of interfaces between source and end state systems.
  • Identification of risks and issues with appropriate handling and escalation to meet business needs.

Key skills:


  • Lead the engagement on Oracle EPM Application Support in areas of Finance, Procurement, HR & Payroll and/or HCM across the NSW system, balance competing demands to achieve business objectives, establish effective stakeholder relationships and arrangements that ensure customer input to all decisions, and balance statewide needs with local innovation and national directions
  • Create, lead, and maintain a constructive workplace culture
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to peers to effectively manage operational issues to ensure continuous effective service delivery and a performance based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer focused work culture.
  • Foster and sustain strategic partnerships across teams, Directorates, the wider agencies and relevant external agencies.
