Cyber Security protects the bank and our customers from theft, loss and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.

The Governance and Advisory Cyber Controls team plays a major role in helping our internal customers understand identity and access risk and what they need to know and do to play their role in protecting the Group, our customers and employees.


Do work that matters:


As the Manager Control Advisory you will use your experience with cyber risk and controls to uplift cyber controls knowledge within the business, ensuring Technology Teams meet their risk and policy obligations.

You will use your exposure to cyber technologies to advise on key cyber controls and risk initiatives.


As a Cyber Controls Advisor, you will be part of a team that is passionate about helping our Service Management Community protect their IT Services from Cyber threats and internal fraud.

You will partner with senior management, internal groups, and risk teams to educate, problem solve and help ensure the alignment of cyber control implementation and governance processes are met.


You will also:


Support Group IT Service Owners and Service Managers adopting Cyber Controls, with a key focus on Identity (IAM) and Privilege Access Management (PAM).


Use your experience, across multiple disciplines, to provide additional support and advice in Cyber Identity and Protection Controls (including IAM, Privileged Access (PAM), Data Protection, Network Security and or End-User Protection) for internal team and business stakeholders.

Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber business challenges including global emerging threats.

Proactively manage risk in line with the group's operational risk management framework.

  • A focus on delivering the right outcome for our customers and our controls and delivery teams
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities and exceptional communication skills, with an ability to translate complex risk and control concepts to assist the team and senior leaders with making informed decisions.
  • Exposure to cyber risk and control frameworks and processes, with knowledge across Identity (IAM) and Privilege Access Management (PAM) preferred.
  • The ability to proactively drive control uplift through customer feedback and continuous improvement ideas across the wider controls team.
