Salary circa $140,000 plus super

Our Client

Our client is a very well known Catering Group that have a diverse portfolio of managed sites and large scale activations they operate throughout Australia.

They are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the financial management and fiscal future of the group.

The role is responsible for building and maintaining mutually beneficial client relationships, actively seeking to drive growth of the business across all markets, maximise conversions and increase brand penetration.

The role will be pivotal in anchoring short and long-term lead generation.

This role will reintroduce the group to traditional and new markets, ensuring a presence in all major B2B conferencing, meeting, industry and corporate platforms.

It will also strategically guide tactical campaigns to the B2C audience.

To be considered for this role, you'll possess the following skills and/or qualifications:

Demonstrated track record in a similar role and evidence of meeting sales goals and targets, including stretch targets
Experience in a leadership role with demonstrated people management and mentoring skills
Successful influencing of key relationships at a senior level with client organisations and stakeholders
Exceptional customer service skills, networking skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry suppliers
Strong communication, negotiation, yielding, and time management skills
Existing relationships with key players in the Melbourne hospitality and events market
Tertiary qualification in hospitality, events or similar is highly desirable
A background in hospitality, events, catering or tourism is preferred
Able to work a flexible week including weekends and evenings

Offer
This role is offering a strong remuneration package circa $140,000 base which is dependent on the experience of the applicant
