**About the Role
**Are you interested in leading a complex and rewarding portfolio?

**What are we looking for?
**Working collaboratively across many different teams within the business, we're looking for an experienced Category Manager or equivalent who can coach, lead and develop their team as well as deliver targets on sales growth, profitability and market share.


What you'll do:


  • Lead the overall customer and business strategy for the Seafood portfolio with full P&L category accountability.
  • Develop successful category plans, determining both local and overseas product trends and converting these into sales.
  • Develop and implement the category strategy, with respect to price, profitability, range & NPD.
  • Take accountability for the fiscal performance of the category including forecasting, budgets, and overall performance to KPIs and expectations.
  • Develop and manage strong supplier relationships with a varied and diverse supplier base.

About You

You have a demonstrated ability to present clearly and succinctly across a variety of communication settings and will bring to the role your ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team.

You're driven by a customer mission and passionate about being part of a team of great people.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualities, skills, and experience:

  • Success in developing and executing a clear customer-focused Category Plan that is aligned with the overarching divisional strategy and based on sound commercial insights/data
  • A strong background and demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence crossfunctional and external stakeholders at all levels across the business
  • The ability to become an industry expert in the field of responsibility within Australia
  • A passion for product and product development and at the forefront of innovation and continuous improvement
  • A reputation as an outstanding leader, influencer and deliverer of exceptional result
  • Ability to coach and develop a highperforming category team and develop a culture where the customer is the focus and at the centre of all decisions made.
