Description

Our client is an international insurance organisation which has an opportunity for a Business Interruption Claims Specialist or Chartered Accountant experienced in forensic, audit or Insolvency or to join their National claims team.

You will become part of a technical team which enables customers understand, quantify, and recover from their financial loss.

This opportunity can be located in Sydney or Melbourne.

You will join a high performing a dedicated claims team which assesses client's financial losses, including business interruption and fidelity through detailed investigation and analysis of accounting records.

Your duties will include

Investigate and assess financial insurance losses.
Work with a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries providing them with advice and consultation services in respect to their losses.
Control claim costs and set loss reserves.
Deliver well researched strategic advice and forensic accounting analysis to clients.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while building relationships with new and potential clients.

Essential Requirements

Several years managing a portfolio of business interruption claims.
A relevant degree and CA or CPA qualification would be highly regarded.
Advanced Excel and report writing skills.
Ideally you will have strong experience in business interruption experience, fraud investigation and economic loss assessment.
Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proven ability to build strong internal and external relationships, along with effective communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
