Electronics Repair Technician to support our Government Solutions team.


This is a permanent, full-time position, working from our South Melbourne office.

The role:


As an
Electronics Repair Technician at Verra Mobility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our core hardware solutions.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and testing a wide range of electronic, computer, and camera equipment. Shape the future of road safety by developing solutions that save lives.


As a detail oriented Electronics Repair Technician at Verra Mobility you will:

  • Perform repair tasks using the FIFO method, prioritizing Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical/electrical issues across diverse equipment, including computer systems, cameras, and custom electronics.
  • Coordinate repair schedules to meet delivery deadlines and maintain comprehensive repair documentation.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and support other departments.

Who are you?

With 5 years of experience in assembling and testing electronic components, they are skilled in crimping, soldering, and metalwork within manufacturing environments. They can work to component level, use electronic testing equipment, and handle relevant tools. They understand technical drawings and can troubleshoot effectively. They have strong knowledge of safe practices and WH&S initiatives and are proficient with Microsoft Office.

Holding
a minimum Cert II or qualifications in Electronics, they have in-depth knowledge of electronic components and diagnostic instruments. They can meet Verra Mobility's employment standards, including criminal history and medical assessments.
