What to Expect

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Controller to join our Tesla Energy team in the APAC region. The Project Controller will be responsible for the key business operations in the deployment of Industrial Storage projects, including the successful delivery of Megapacks across the APAC region. The role requires someone who can maintain a highlevel overview of the logistics operations needed to fulfil an order while managing multiple stakeholders at the same time. Due to the size of the organisation, you will be dealing with many kinds of (global) stakeholders.
This includes, and is not limited to, Sales Operations, Service, Construction, Warehousing, Logistics, Inventory Control, and several IT teams. Therefore, you should be able to deal with cultural differences and will need an international orientated mindset to succeed.

What You'll Do

Be a key Project Controls team member who supports the broader APAC Industrial Storage Energy team.
Work with local and global teams including project management, logistics, business operations, finance, and IT to meet key business goals and drive operational excellence.
Be the main point of contact in APAC for Megapack Inbound logistics, including fulfilment order release schedules and control.
Respond to unanticipated changes, e.g., to fulfilment shortfall versus schedule or material shortages. In result providing updates, impact assessments and options to downstream stakeholders and revise fulfilment schedules as needed.
Support operational requirements for the Megapack project portfolio, including purchasing, invoice forecasting and financial reporting internally.
Take charge and be an active participant in multiple projects at once, communicating confidently with internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes are followed and business goals are met.
Conduct ongoing analysis to identify process & operational improvements while keeping scalability, efficiency, and cost reduction in mind.
Assist in the creation of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) internally and externally.
Able to build bridges and communicate with different stakeholders with different needs and cultural backgrounds.
Passionate about accelerating the transition to sustainable energy.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's or master's degree in the field of Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations or Engineering, or relevant industry experience
3+ years' experience in Order Fulfillment, Order Management, Planning, Forecasting, Warehousing, Logistics or similar in an operational or business analytical role
Proven project management experience and/or willingness to grow in this area.
Experience in Construction and equipment supply, especially EPC, would be beneficial.
Strong analytical and organisational skills; ability to achieve success in situations with high degrees of variation and complexity.
