  • APS4 equivalent $43+ p/h + super
  • Located in Chermside, Queensland
  • Up to 12 months with potential to extend, pending business and performance requirements.

About the Team

Join our Internal Reviews and Complaints Branch, the central hub for coordinating the Agency's handling and resolution of reviews and complaints.

Working closely with participants, providers, internal staff, and external agencies, our branch is committed to managing and resolving reviews and complaints promptly, in line with the Service Charter.


About the Role

  • Support the coordination of complaints received, including resolution at point of entry, assessment, recording, and referral as necessary.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to confirm receipt of referred complaints and gather essential information.
  • Escalate complaints following established complaint handling processes.
  • Contribute to maintaining accurate and current records within the team.
  • Assist in coordinating correspondence, briefing, and reporting functions for the branch as required.
  • Responsibilities may evolve based on current priorities

About you

To thrive in this role, you need:

  • Experience working within a complaints handling or customer service environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within defined parameters and adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • An understanding of related services or a willingness to learn about the sector.
  • Experience working within a government or regulatory environment.
  • Knowledge of similar support systems.
  • Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
  • Must be an **Australian Citizen.
