About the role
An exciting, permanent opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic Business Support Officer.
This role will see you as the first point of call for internal and external clients along with ensuring appropriate prioritisation of issues on behalf of management and other staff as required.
This role will involve preparing documents such as correspondence, presentations, briefing notes and reports, which may include research, sourcing and analysing information, managing and coordinating the diaries of managers and other staff including travel arrangements, scheduling of regular and other meetings and appointments and basic financial transactions, including creation of purchase orders and ensuring transactions are carried out in line with CFA standards.
This varied role would be perfect for an adaptable and professional administrator who is willing to learn and keen to be part of an organisation that has a meaningful purpose in the community.
About you
The person we are looking for will have superior administration experience within a large and complex organisation.
You will work well within a team, be able to work proactively with mínimal supervision and will require the ability to deliver professional administrative services with a responsive and diplomatic approach when dealing with internal and external customers.
Crucial to your success in this role will be your adaptability, flexibility and ability to work within a high volume and fast paced directorate.
Naturally, you will have excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus with the ability to engage with all levels across the organisation along with exceptional attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills.
Furthermore, the successful applicant will have exceptional computer literacy skills particularly in Microsoft Office with the ability to initiate and manage business improvements.
