As the successful applicant you will be part of North West Metro Region which has over 3710 operational police, 343 Victorian Public Service employees which include 115 Police Custody Officers.

North West Metro Region is at the forefront of the delivery of policing services to a large, diverse and challenging segment of the Victorian Community.


About the role:


As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support services to members at the Melbourne West Police Station, North-West Metro Region, Division 1.

Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and support flexible working arrangements.


Your duties will include:


  • Provide general office support duties including the operation and maintenance of office equipment.
  • Prepare routine correspondence on a range of administrative matters and attend to followup procedures.
  • Assist with the processing of lost and confiscated property.
  • Attend to telephone and counter enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.

As the successful applicant, you will have**:

  • Experience in working with computers and various programs to perform a arrange of administrative tasks.
  • Ability to accurately maintain systematic and administrative records whilst meeting strict deadlines with a high attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work successfully within a team environment and work independently.
  • Display initiative and proactive work practices.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of clients both orally and in writing.

Requirements and relevant information:


  • One (1) full time, ongoing position available.
  • Position is located at the Melbourne West Police Station, 313 Spencer Street, Docklands. While positions will have a nominated usual place of work, the position may be required to work at other locations, in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Victorian Public Service Agreement.
