  • We're on the lookout for dynamic Assistant Advisor to play a key role in supporting the flow of information for the Premier's Department and The Cabinet Office.
  • If you thrive in a high volume work environment, this role has your name on it.
  • Temporary Clerk Grade 5/6 role up to 12 months located in the heart of Sydney, Martin Place.

About the role.

:


  • You'll be a key contributor, ensuring that the Premier and department Executives receive the most relevant, riskassessed, and uptodate information.
  • Allocate, register, and follow up on briefings, correspondence, and strategic advice. Your keen eye for detail ensures that every piece of information finds its rightful place and is actioned as needed.
  • Drafting and dispatching responses to correspondence will be second nature to you. Your knack for ensuring advice is provided within required time frames and issues of unusual complexity are identified and escalated for advice will be the key to supporting our stakeholders.
  • Monitor the progress of briefings and correspondence, using a range of systems to produce reports that keep the Executive informed.
  • Keep information organised, accurate, and presentable to meet high organisational standards.

The Premier's Department and the Cabinet Office commenced operations on 1 July 2023 as separate but complementary agencies at the centre of government, replacing the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

The Premier's Department leads the state's 430,000 public servants, driving collaboration and the delivery of whole-of-government priorities.

Salary

:

Clerk Grade 5/6. Package includes base salary ($93,295 - $102,941) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
