Reform Pilates
Reform Pilates is an FLG branded workout that is pre choreographed. The practice is on a bed like frame (Reformer Bed), that uses weighted spring combinations to create resistance.

The experience is enhanced by our screen technology, guiding the participants through each exercise, while our fully qualified Reform Coaches assist with spring combinations and the right exercise for each member, depending on their ability, giving an individual approach to group training.


The Opportunity:

The Lead REFORM trainer is responsible for the effective facilitation of instructor training.

The lead trainer plays an important role in ensuring consistency of the REFORM product and assists in managing quality instructor outcomes.

The lead trainer will also assist with the ongoing training, support and development of Reform Coaches.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver training as needed, as directed by the SGFM (State Group Fitness Manager)
  • Strong coaching skills and ability to deliver concise feedback with positive messaging
  • Ensure all participants meet brand standards and can deliver the REFORM product in line with industry standards after assessment
  • Communicate as needed with the NPC on training materials, training times and venues
  • Quarterly meetings with key stakeholders to ensure product delivery is meeting member needs
  • As needed, additional training and development with club teams on product/programming

To be successful in this role you have:
Essential

  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Fitness
  • Mat Pilates certified
  • REFORM by Goodlife/Fitness First REFORM training
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualifications essential
  • Registration as a Fitness Professional with AusActive
  • Reformer Pilates qualification
Desirable

  • A strong leader who is a critical thinker and a great problem solver
  • Work effectively with and communicate openly with key stakeholders (NGFM, NPC and SGFM)
  • Conduct yourself with a positive, proactive and professional manner with members and staff
  • Build and develop productive and positive working relationships with all staff
  • A great motivator and coach who develops effective working relationships
  • Willingness to undertake personal and professional development
  • An exceptional coach who can deliver concise feedback in a positive manner
  • Must be available to teach at least 1 Reform class per week
