Unaccredited ENT Head & Neck Unaccredited Registrar in the
ENT Unit
for the 2025
Clinical Year (commencing
February 2025 ).
Details of Department
The ENT/Head and Neck, is part of the Division of Surgery, Anaesthesia and Procedural Medicine.
It is responsible for the provision of services within the specialty to patients across Austin Health, which is situated at Austin Hospital and Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital.
The Head of Unit is Mr Matthew Campbell.
The Unit is committed to the provision of high quality patient care and maintains an ongoing commitment to Under Graduate and Post Graduate teaching.
ENT surgery services are provided at both the Austin and Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital sites.
The Unit is committed to the provision of high quality patient care and maintains an ongoing commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching that includes Medical Students, Postgraduate Nurses, Hospital Medical Officers, Registrars and many others.
Details of positions available and position requirements
The priority for this position is to assist the accredited registrars and the rest of the team run the ENT Unit efficiently and effectively across two campuses (Austin and Repatriation Hospitals).
To be successful in this role you must:
Demonstrate a commitment to the Austin Health values.

Be able to be registered in Australia with the Medical Board of Australia

Have completed Basic Surgical Trainee years 1 & 2 (not essential)
***- Have significant ENT resident or registrar experience
***:
- Have a baseline level of ENT knowledge to allow safe management of patients when oncall***For full information, refer to the attached Position Description.
