About the role

The Energy Sustainability Schemes (ESS) unit at IPART is looking for a Technical Support Officer to join a small team supporting the ESS ICT platforms, including the recently launched Energy Security Safeguard Application (TESSA).

This role will have a key focus on supporting the daily operations and evolution of TESSA.


Reporting to the ESS business unit, the Technical Support Officer will interact with internal and external TESSA users and our IT vendor in order to investigate and resolve service requests and incidents.

The role will also assist in responding to business needs and requirements in line with defined strategic objectives related to the ESS ICT platforms.


About you

We are looking for a person with a can-do attitude that is comfortable interacting with internal users as well as a range of external users.

You will proactively investigate and resolve service requests and incidents, and where appropriate escalate incidents to our IT vendor. Collaborating with the rest of the team, you will respond to reporting needs and development activities.


Previous experience in Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) and / or Incident Management is a must and qualifications in Information Technology or Computer Science are desirable.

The salary range for the position is $101,522 - $109,777 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.
