  • Being an integral part of the Communication, Engagement and Customer Team, contributing to our strategic outcome: a community informed and engaged in its' future.
  • Leading community engagement planning through providing strategic advice and support across the organisation and within the Communication & Engagement team to optimise engagement with community stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that Council undertakes effective community engagement which empowers the community to be actively involved in civic life and inform Council decision making.
  • Supporting the management of risks associated with the implementation of the Engagement Strategy and related projects to achieve outcomes and realise benefits.
  • Striving for best practice and showcase Council's values
  • Collaborate, Achieve, Respect, and Evolve.
  • Identify and help to implement continuous improvement of business processes and practices.

  • Have a flair for community and stakeholder engagement with a passion for driving positive community outcomes.
  • Be a true teamplayer with a genuine openness to share your skills and experience to help empower others.
  • Have the ability to quickly build effective relationships, have a strong understanding of community engagement methodologies and significant experience in developing, delivering and measuring a range of stakeholder engagement strategies.

Fine Print:

Package:$89,000 - $97,000 gross p.a. plus 10.5% superannuation
-
Hours of work:Temporary Full time 35 hours per week, with option of 19 day month flexi-time. Expected start date late March 2023 and is expected to be available for up to 12 months.
