About the Role

The purpose of this role is to respond to general customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate information and assistance to clients and staff to facilitate service delivery within the Hospital environment.

Duties will include:

Complete general administration and secretarial duties including mail, typing, formatting, photocopying data entry, filing as well as creating and maintain spreadsheets.
Prepare and distribute agendas for meetings, source and organise venue, facilities, equipment and catering if required and confidential recording of minutes during meetings.
Exercise judgement when necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined.
Act as primary point of contact for the unit for all incoming and outgoing communication.
Transcription of clinical letters and medical reports; sourcing and retrieval of patients information.
Prepare and update doctors and other payroll tasks, liaising with appropriate professional staff.
Enter roster information as required into relevant database.
Assist staff and clients in the work unit as requested. Assist with Outpatient tasks.
