The Opportunity
The Monash Partners Comprehensive Cancer Consortium (MPCCC) is a strategic alliance of health service and research organisations working in partnership to improve outcomes for people affected by cancer.
Our partners work collaboratively to bring a coordinated, multidisciplinary approach to innovating clinical oncology practices and delivering the next generation of research for better cancer prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer.
Working alongside the MPCCC leadership team to play a key role in delivering MPCCC's strategic priorities through the development and implementation of its Communication and Public Relations Plan.
This can include:
- Proactively managing, consulting, developing, implementing and evaluating a comprehensive internal and external communications strategy that supports broad stakeholder engagement
- Contributing strategic communications advice and expertise to the development of major cancer research initiatives
- Establishing effective communication channels that can deliver relevant, timely, accessible and engaging content
- Delivering written content through multiple channels that appeal to a variety of internal and external audiences
- Ensuring maximum awareness and takeup of MPCCC events, research opportunities and activities
- Liaising with experts to develop communications related to MPCCC initiatives, including contributing to to progress reports
- Coordinating and promoting MPCCC research seminars and other events
- Contributing to continuous improvement of the MPCCC communications function through collecting, analysing and reporting on communication metrics
