The Recruitment are a company providing Recruitment & HR Solutions.


Due to continued growth and success, we are currently assisting our client in their search for 2 Sales Reps / Territory Managers to cover Sydney / CBD region.

Our client is a stable, well established food manufacturer who provide products to the retail and hospitality sectors.

They have low staff turnover as they support their teams and promote from within.


The role

As a Sales Rep / Territory Manager you will receive a good basic salary, + company car, laptop and mobile phone.

Your role as a Sales Rep will be to nurture existing client relationships and develop new companies. (Your focus will either be Independent retailers or hospitality / wholesale sector)


Duties include:

  • Strategic planning and visit existing clients
  • Arrange your appointments and call cycles grow sales revenue.
  • Develop long term sustainable relationships assisting clients as and when required
  • Identify & drive new business opportunities
  • Maintain strong brand presence
  • Securing and managing a portfolio of clients that will ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
  • Reporting on the market conditions / trends and competitor activity

We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of managing their own territory and can maintain strong relationships with their clients.


Successful applicants will be:

  • Previous experience in FMCG is essential ideally food / drink
  • Commercially astute
  • Excellent at managing client relationships
  • Someone used to regular travel and proven track record of managing call cycles
  • Good time management and organisation skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and deadlines
  • The ability to implement strategy and continuous improvement projects whilst maintaining effective management of the existing operation
  • Experience managing a budget and delivering cost savings targets as directed by the business
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to communicate well with peers, consultants and customers
  • Previous experience in FMCG is essential ideally food / drink
