About the Role


The People and Culture (P&C) Business Partner will provide operational management and support of people and culture activities across our Specialist Wholesale businesses.

To achieve this you will partner with key stakeholders within the Specialist Wholesale businesses to operationalise, support and drive their people and culture plans and strategies.


Key responsibilities include:

Provide advisory and coaching support to attract, retain and develop high performing teams.


Develop and maintain a reputation for best practice HR initiatives and guide behaviours that encourage an engaged, respectful and safe working environment.

Communicate and advocate Bapcor's P&C strategy.

Support compliance to safe work practices, policies, procedures and instructions.

Provide advice and support leadership teams in business transformation and change management activities.

Assist in delivery of Talent Review and Succession Planning processes.


Work in collaboration with the broader P&C function and business leaders to identify current and future competency gaps and recommend initiatives, programs and activities to address requirements.


Provide interpretation, advice and guidance to the businesses on employment legislation, including outlining risks and considerations, and support business decision approaches.

Support the annual performance review process and advise on appropriate remuneration in line with the wider business remuneration strategy.

About you

You are flexible and agile in your approach with highly developed influencing and negotiating skills.


An excellent communicator who will is outcome focused and ability and persistence to drive the Bapcor P&C plans and strategies.


A partnership driven HR professional with proven experience as a trusted adviser ideally in a mulit-site business in the wholesale distribution, B2B, retail or service centric environment.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or related field.
