About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Provide health and safety expertise and leadership, guidance, and direction to line managers, supervisors, and HSR/s on complex issues associated with WHS.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including HSRs, to promote an integrated approach to managing WHS issues.
Develop and provide training to staff, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure they have the skills to fulfill their WHS responsibilities.
Monitor incident investigations and reports to ensure appropriate corrective action is undertaken.
Develop the Safety Management Plan for incidents.
Collaborate with our Manager
Work Health Safety & Wellbeing to assist with direction, advice, and priority setting.

Requirements:

Experience in a similar role, with expertise in Work Health and Safety.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
Experience in providing consultancy and guidance services to organisations, specifically in incident response and emergency management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage priorities.
Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety or a related field.
