Base Criteria
Tertiary or Trade qualification in Engineering (M&E/HVAC), Business Management or Facilities Management with 8+ years' experience within Facilities or Engineering Management, with at least 5 years at Contracts / Key Account Manager level.
Outline Duties
Leading the delivery of Maintenance, Repairs, Minor Works, cleaning, OHS & waste / hygiene across a key contract in N.W.
Melbourne and responsible for driving staff development and additional service offerings.
A strong operations manager who will be responsible for supporting the management, guidance and operational direction of the contract/s, ensuring that best practice Facilities Management Solutions are implemented, stakeholder engagement fully undertaken and works delivered within expected and agreed timescales under commercial arrangements and ISO55001.
Skills and Attributes
- Direct leadership, management and coordination of all aspects relating to the Facilities Maintenance, Repair, Minor Works, Project Management, Service delivery and subcontractors.
- Outstanding communication skills:
- Verbal and Written including full Reports (Progress, Weekly, Monthly, Annual)
- Lead Project Management Services for all small projects, fit outs, change of use requirements, capital expenditure works and life cycle management.
- Provide regular reporting for all stakeholders including service delivery, planning and scheduling, KPI reporting and analysis of trending.
- Prior experience managing the provision of Minor Works, Capital Works, Proactive and Reactive Maintenance and Cleaning / Waste Support Services working across a large single or portfolio of sites (Education, Government, Defence, Health, Industrial, Corporate) is preferred.
- Prior experience running a team of over 35 direct staff.
