Due to our growth and continuous success, Turner & Townsend is in search of an Occupational Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (OHSEQ) Specialist to join the Natural Resources team in Perth, working on significant projects.


Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to bolster the OHSEQ Advisory function for Natural Resources in Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) by:

  • Contribute to developing, implementing, and reviewing a client-focused OHSEQ project strategy through a collaborative approach
    • Aid in developing specialized OHSEQ Management Systems, including standards, policies, procedures, and supporting systems to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
    • Support project delivery and implementation of OHSEQ processes
    • Offer expert advice to internal and external stakeholders on OHSEQ policies and procedures
    • Assist in establishing OHSEQ metrics for the new system and project reporting
    • Review contractor OHSEQ documentation for compliance with client and regulatory standards
    • Provide strategic and technical OHSEQ advice to clients and the organization
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with client managers, supervisors, and employees to ensure clarity on project requirements and roles
    • Analyze OHSEQ data and prepare regular reports for the Manager and Executive Management Team

    Qualifications:


    • Must be based in Western Australia with full work rights
    • Minimum of 8 years' experience in OHSEQ or Project Management
    • Recognized Degree Qualification in a relevant field
    • Industry experience, preferably in a consultancy setting
    • Familiarity with reporting and planning tools like Power BI and MS Project
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with a proficiency in report writing
    • Collaborative with the ability to work effectively in a national team
    • Effective time management, quick decision-making, and resilience in fast-paced environments
