About the role:

Exciting opportunity awaits in our Laverton North's steel manufacturing and distribution site

We are looking for individuals who are highly safety focused and someone eager to learn and hone their skills in the steel industry.

You will be a part of close-knit team who works collaboratively ensuring highest quality of service to our customers

This is a permanent full-time role on
Day Shift with OT opportunities.

Your key duties:

Operating bending and cutting machinery for bar, steel, and mesh products
Operating overhead gantry crane and forklift machines
Perform storeman activities such as pick & packing and loading & unloading tasks
Training to master operating steel processing machinery
Championing safety procedures to the highest standard
Involvement in process improvement initiatives.

About your experience:

You are someone who values teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement and has a strong desire to succeed.

For you to be successful in the role, you will be the following:

Keen to learn and train to build their career in the steel manufacturing industry
Has a continuous learning and cando mindset willing to expose yourself in different production activities
Previous experiences in Manufacturing, Logistics or Construction industry experience are ideal
Forklift licence and crane experience is a plus but not essential
Keen to join a collaborative and highperforming team
