Water Management Maintenance Tech Experienced

Christmas Creek**:
- **Fortescue's Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.

Roster:

7D7R - FIFO ex Perth

Reporting to the Chichester Water Management supervisor, you will be responsible for all aspects of dewatering and water services for operational mining.

You will be joining a team of committed people who share a vision of being highly efficient, while maintaining the highest level of safety in a large-scale dewatering environment.

Key accountabilities will include:

Demonstrate strong Fortescue values
Comply with FMG safety procedures
Inpit sump pump installation and development
Machinery operation for daily tasks (I.T Loaders, Franna cranes, Light and Medium rigid trucks)
Poly welding/fabrication, bore installations and removals, diesel pump set up/relocations
Verification, Isolation and purging of pipelines for upcoming projects
Water monitoring and reporting for environmental compliance
Chainsaw operation for HDPE piping
Operating in autonomous open pit mining operation
Operation of large scale water distribution system and managing pond levels.
Identify faults with water network and create SAP notifications to the respective engineering and maintenance discipline

Qualifications and skills required:

Experience in a similar role
Experience in water services operations including bore fields, mine plans, equipment isolations and water compliance requirements
Experience in HDPE piping projects
High Risk Qualifications DG CN LF desired
Chainsaw qualification
Previous experience/tickets for It Loader and similar equipment
Computer proficiency in Microsoft office, SAP and BMS (desired)
