Level 3 / 4 SCHCDS

We are currently seeking an experienced Housing Officer for temporary assignments in the Lismore and Ballina.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in the not-for-profit sector and who has experience in the homelessness services industry.

Responsibilities:

High level administration duties
Engaging with homeless individuals and families
Provide case management services to clients, including referrals to support services and followup support
Respond to client inquiries
Document management
Maintain accurate and uptodate records and reports

Requirements:

Essential: Experience in homelessness services, housing assistance and/or case management
Desired: Qualification in Community Services (Certificate or Diploma)
Desired: Knowledge of homelessness services and housing assistance and/or NDIS.
Resilience and patience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Please note that you MUST be available to commence immediately and be happy to work on a ongoing temporary/casual basis. This role is ongoing until June 2023.

You will go through our registration process which includes an initial phone screen, online interview, reference checking (two referees) and online Workplace Health & Safety modules.
