Key responsibilities

  • Provide positive behaviour support assessments & plans
  • Deliver evidencebased interventions & assessments, behavioural counselling & support to a range of clients
  • Provide functional, behavioural, psychometric & vocational assessments
  • Achieve client defined clinical outcomes such as reducing challenging behaviour & improving quality of life

Key selection criteria

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Developmental Education
  • Full registration with the relevant membership body (AHPRA, SPA, DEAI or AASW)
  • Assessed by NDIS or selfassessed as a PBS practitioner (any level)
  • Demonstrated experience in providing Positive Behaviour Support to clients & a sound knowledge of the NDIS
  • Demonstrated experience in writing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support plans
