Description

Develop, manage and implement projects and programs that support the effective delivery of services to seniors and Queenslanders with disability.


  • Provide high level strategic and operational advice and direction to the Manager on program design and delivery and service procurement as this relates to achieving program outcomes.
  • Provide high level liaison, consultation and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders towards the development and implementation of program initiatives.
  • Lead internal and external stakeholder engagement to support procurement and project outcomes.
  • Prepare a range of written materials including complex submissions, executive correspondence, briefing materials, plans and reports related to procurement as well as programs delivered by the business unit.
  • Manage strategic procurement functions for the business unit to ensure best practice, including evaluating offers, contract management and/or administration and other general procurement activities.
  • Contribute to a professional environment through personal commitment to, ethical behaviour, staff wellbeing, skills development, professional growth and continuous improvement.
  • As a senior member of the team, undertake tasks allocated by the Manager in a constantly changing work environment to support innovation and efficient delivery.
  • Professionally represent the department at forums and meetings as required.
