APG are currently looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Support Officer for a 3-month contract Government Sector based in Meadowbank.


Start Date:

ASAP

End Date: 3 Months + possible extension

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and utilise asset management and facilities work management systems for a range of activities including maintaining database records, logging, and tracking jobs and work orders, monitoring issues, and closing off jobs satisfactorily completed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key site stakeholders and customers, to assist with activities scheduling and planning, proactively identifying issues and working collaboratively on responses and solutions.
  • Implement efficient and effective tiered response procedures for facilities related incidents and issues, including impacts of events such as weather and power outages, ensuring all team members are trained and equipped to initially assess requirements, address immediate safety concerns, and effectively manage/escalate according to approved protocols.
  • Under guidance of the manager/team leader, contribute to broader projects and activities requiring facilities and asset management involvement at a local site level.
  • Act as the site point of contact for maintenance and security provides and provide support to trades, service providers and contractors to carry out work as required including coordinating entry and local site inductions, confirming job scope and monitoring work is performed to meet job specifications and standards required
and payment.

  • Perform work or use equipment reliant on holding formal licences or certification to support facilities, asset maintenance and logistics activities such as unloading and distribution of goods, moving vehicles and testing/tagging equipment, undertaking essential training, and obtaining relevant licences as required.

Essential:


  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience assessing maintenance and repairs work requirements and coordinating services to perform work to specified standards
  • Experience supervising contracted services in the delivery of high standards of facilities management, repairs, and maintenance work combined with experience utilising computerised systems to support administration and work management activities.
  • Minimum class C drivers and forklift licences or willingness and ability to obtain; and willingness to update
licences/certifications and undertake essential training as required.

  • Current WWCC or willing to obtain prior to commencing
