As the Catalogue Manager (Australia and New Zealand) you will contribute to keeping people and parts moving throughout the world, through ensuring we have a market leading catalogue, achieved through thought leadership and project management of data structures, analytics, vendor engagement, processes and store and customer support.

Key areas of responsibility

Management of a team of five direct reports, spread across both Australia and New Zealand
Ensure that the teams efforts are aligned with the business strategies
Develop and maintain key relationships with key internal & external stakeholders
Develop strong relationships with local, NZ and global customers and peers
Act as a thought leader in the catalogue and data space
Develop plans and frameworks to ensure that GPC has a market leading catalogue today and into the future
Work with vendors to onboard into GPC preferred systems
Implement metrics to measure vendor performance and conduct discussions to improve the quality of data
Communicate with suppliers as required to ensure accurate system data
Build business cases to support the development of the catalogue
Interact of a frequent basis with stakeholders to ensure needs are being met
Develop a customer centric team; having the customer at the heart of everything we do
Keep up to date with changes and technology and catalogue data structures within the automotive / industrial industry, by aligning with catalogue team and external industry sources

Role Requirements:

Previous digital catalogue experience in a fast paced, high volume consumer and/or trade business
Experience in the management of a geographically diverse team
Understanding of vehicle mechanics and automotive part structures
Strong project management skills
Knowledge of user experience in part/product selection
Supplier Management (desirable)
Data analysis, reporting and problem solving
Intermediate MS Office
