As the Catalogue Manager (Australia and New Zealand) you will contribute to keeping people and parts moving throughout the world, through ensuring we have a market leading catalogue, achieved through thought leadership and project management of data structures, analytics, vendor engagement, processes and store and customer support.


Key areas of responsibility

  • Management of a team of five direct reports, spread across both Australia and New Zealand
  • Ensure that the teams efforts are aligned with the business strategies
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with key internal & external stakeholders
  • Develop strong relationships with local, NZ and global customers and peers
  • Act as a thought leader in the catalogue and data space
  • Develop plans and frameworks to ensure that GPC has a market leading catalogue today and into the future
  • Work with vendors to onboard into GPC preferred systems
  • Implement metrics to measure vendor performance and conduct discussions to improve the quality of data
  • Communicate with suppliers as required to ensure accurate system data
  • Build business cases to support the development of the catalogue
  • Interact of a frequent basis with stakeholders to ensure needs are being met
  • Develop a customer centric team; having the customer at the heart of everything we do
  • Keep up to date with changes and technology and catalogue data structures within the automotive / industrial industry, by aligning with catalogue team and external industry sources

Role Requirements:


  • Previous digital catalogue experience in a fast paced, high volume consumer and/or trade business
  • Experience in the management of a geographically diverse team
  • Understanding of vehicle mechanics and automotive part structures
  • Strong project management skills
  • Knowledge of user experience in part/product selection
  • Supplier Management (desirable)
  • Data analysis, reporting and problem solving
  • Intermediate MS Office
