About the roleTo support the planning, development and negotiation of procurement activities for clinical services across Metro North Hospital and Health Service in a client focussed and transparent manner.
The role is involved in the delivery of clinical services procurement and contract management activities for Metro North covering, but not limited to:- Procurement of external clinical services such as palliative care, immunisation, patient transport.
- Establishment and management of service and maintenance contracts as it relates to biomedical equipment.
- Panel and Standing Offer Arrangements as it relates to supply of external clinical services.
The Procurement and Contracts Officer facilitates end to end procurement activities as directed by the Principal Procurement and Contract Officer.
