The Role
An opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual to provide executive support to Assistant Secretary Materiel Procurement. As an Executive Assistant, you will manage the senior executive's office.


You will be responsible to undertake a range of duties, including calendar management, organising meetings, arranging travel, coordinating briefing packs and ensuring tasks are completed according to priority and deadlines.

You will be well organised and have the ability to manage competing priorities.


You will be able to anticipate the needs of the senior executive and exercise sound judgment in providing executive and administration assistance, be action oriented to solve problems, take a collaborative approach and possess excellent communication skills in order to engage stakeholders effectively and with discretion.


You will have either the relevant experience or be able to demonstrate skills required in supporting senior executives and able to work independently with little or no supervision.


About our Team

Assistant Secretary Materiel Procurement (ASMP) provides leadership to the Materiel Procurement Branch (MPB) to deliver a wide range of commercial services to Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).

The Executive Assistant, as part of the small MPB Business Management team, provides administrative and executive support to ASMP, the Executive team and the wider Branch staff.
