About the Role

The Product & Communication Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the broader Home Loans Product team, including supporting the implementation of product initiatives and the development, implementation and coordination of administrative tasks for integrated communications activities to support home loan products.

This includes but not limited to communicating product features, product changes, terms and conditions, remediation, regulatory and compliance obligations.


Key Accountabilities

  • Work with Product Teams to help manage product and process changes. Examples include rate and offer changes, special offers, projects, and compliance notifications.


  • ME Comms administration

  • Update the Library, shared drive, storage of all drafts and approvals, SharePoint
  • Coordinate and manage drafts, version control and collate stakeholder feedback and sign off for communication activities.
  • Ensure internal document quality standards are strictly maintained.
  • Identify business changes and opportunities that require the development of new or updated customer communications.
  • Continually review and identify areas for improvement in customer communications and product portfolio management by providing solutions via multichannel strategic outcomes to elevate the customer experience.
  • Identify discrepancies in information gathered and where required seek feedback to resolve clarification.
  • Development of strong stakeholder relationships to support execution of strategy across retail network, brokers, marketing, operations, legal, compliance and risk teams.
  • Act as a liaison between Product Teams and other departments.

About you

  • Experience in retail banking or financial services
  • Previous experience in communications in a fastpaced financial services environment is desirable.
  • Experience in supporting datadriven, lifecycle communications and procedures, which are designed to align/enhance the customer experience and with a real focus on simplification.
  • Demonstrate clear and successful problemsolving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Excellent attention to detail in supporting and executing solutions to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrate exceptional ability in managing multiple initiatives at a time, ensuring overlap in customer impacts are articulated and proactively managed.
  • Previous experience in working with policies, procedures, and processes for financial services products, with a healthy understanding of risk considerations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to interpret data to draw conclusions and provide insight.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High level attention to detail and the ability to prioritise within a fastpaced environment.
