Smith & Co Recruitment are currently seeking a Pick Packers / Storepersons our clients located in Brendale and Pinkenba who are leaders in the Timber and Steel industries.
Positions Details:
Brendale Storeperson:
Hours:
Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm
Pay:
$34.20
Pinkenba Storeperson:
Hours:
Monday to Friday 12pm to 8pm (with regular paid OT available)
Pay:
$33.35 per hour
Permanent Full-time position
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick packing orders
- Loading/unloading trucks
- Receiving and dispatch of stock
- Forklift operation
- Manual handling
- General warehouse duties
- General warehouse housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and organised workplace
Requirements:
- Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
- Current Forklift Licence and proven experience
- Previous Storeperson, picking and warehousing experience
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Ability to lift up to 20kg
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Basic Literacy and numeracy
- Proven safety focus
- 2 contactable work references
