  • Bring to the team your knowledge, capability and experience working with Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people and/or or Multicultural communities being a positive addition to our highperforming community development team.
  • Share your experience and draw upon your extensive knowledge and understanding of current social issues affecting our community.
  • Bring to the team your experience in working effectively with various community groups.
  • Successfully maintain effective relationships with community groups and possess a strong understanding of the techniques and processes required to provide effective sector support.

Things You'll
Do:


  • Support the development and implementation of strategies, policies and plans that facilitate resilience, build capacity and create connected, caring, inclusive and liveable communities.
  • Support community activities, programs and events which foster social connectivity, create awareness and develop respect with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and those from culturally diverse backgrounds.
  • Establish effective partnerships with community groups and other key stakeholders to provide acknowledgement and proactive solutions to community concerns.
  • Lead communication, engagement and collaboration with key community stakeholders.
  • Implement key deliverables within Councils reconciliation action plan and multicultural action plan.

Fine Print:

Interview date:Interviews will be facilitated Tuesday 21 November 202-
Package:$88,038 gross p.a. plus superannuation (salary will be paid pro-rata to the part-time hours worked).

Hours of work:Temporary part time job share opportunity, working 14 hours per week. Position expected to be available up to August 202
