The Team Leader is responsible for managing the performance of a team of Account Managers to ensure growth of new loan originations and customer engagement.

The team work on a roster basis in a largely phone-based capacity.

This role may suit an individual who has led a contact centre team within a financial services environment.


Main Responsibilities/Duties
You'll be coaching and training team members, communicating clear goals, identifying development areas and ongoing team building. You'll participate in the hiring processes of new team members and manage successful inductions and onboarding activity.

We love to celebrate success and will look to you to recognise higher performance in your team. You'll be responsible for managing an outbound sales pipeline and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications:


  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting or Management required.

Experience:


  • 2+ years leadership experience in Team Leader capacity or equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience in Financial Services
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • An ability to thrive in a collaborative, fastpaced and changing team environment.
  • Ability to coach, performance manage or mentor direct reports
  • Proven track record in managing high performing teams
  • A strong sense of accountability, willingness to take ownership and drive resolution of issues
  • A high degree of selfmotivation and drive, and willingness to learn and try new approaches
  • Experience in developing and tracking KPI's
  • Exposure to driving sales outcomes; sales conversion rate, pipeline management and cross sell
  • Exposure to change management
