Take ownership of key reporting and analysis across the Consolidation portfolio

  • Work with your Financial Controller and Senior Analyst to review and consolidate the Qantas Airline segment results at half/year end
  • Permanent fulltime position based at our Mascot Campus

On a day-to-day basis, our Financial Control Teams, working in a centralised Finance function, support the various Finance Business Partner Teams and the business to drive effective decision-making.

As the Financial Analyst you will assist in month-end close, take ownership of the Qantas Group capital expenditure database and provide analysis and advice on all financial aspects across the Consolidation Team's portfolio.

You'll have

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant discipline
years' experience within a large and complex environment

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail and comfortable working with large volumes of data
  • The ability to work under time pressure and reprioritise tasks as required
  • High level of accountability and resilience with an inquisitive and analytical mindset
  • CPA/CA qualification or working towards will be highly regarded but not essential
