***is seeking a proactive and self-motivated
Goods Inwards Administrator to support our PELC morning shift team. This role is offered on a temporary basis linked to build rate.
Responsibilities:
- Booking in of sea freight containers, generating check lists and associated labels.
- Booking in of local supplier deliveries, generating check lists and associated labels. (Inclusive of any carry over from the Milk Run).
- Booking in of air freight deliveries, generating check lists and associated labels.
- Manual goods receiving where ASN data is missing or incomplete.
- Liaise with Material Control to resolve any queries relating to:
- Missing/incorrect Purchase Orders
- Incorrect purchase order quantities
- ASN, delivery docket, invoicing errors etc.
- Report relevant Inspection Reports in GPS for supplier nonconformities related to:
- Missing / incomplete ASN
- Missing / incomplete delivery docket, invoicing errors
- Package labelling noncompliance.
- Notify internal departments of arrival of nonautomotive orders raised in EBD.
- Arranging of despatching and paperwork related to Reworks being sent out to suppliers.
- Arranging of despatching and paperwork related to After Market Emergency Parts (Minto and Dealers)
- Represent the Goods Inwards Team Leader in his/her absence when required from timetotime.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Working experience in the automotive / manufacturing industry
- Working experience liaising with external Suppliers and Material Control to resolve queries
- Proven knowledge of AS400/BPCS systems
- Proven knowledge of STRIPE systems (MACS essential, GILM would be an advantage)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to deal with internal customers and external suppliers in a professional manner
- Must demonstrate a high attention to detail and a highlevel of perseverance to follow up and resolve outstanding queries
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office including MS Excel and MS Outlook)
