Why Your Role Matters:
As a Post-Doctoral Fellow (Level A), you will be expected to contribute towards the research effort of UNSW and to develop your research expertise through the pursuit of defined projects relevant to your particular field of research.
This role will be part of a 5-year MRFF RART precision medicine project titled 'Developing a novel precision medicine clinic to drive integration of research into routine healthcare: P-OMICs-flow.' Using implementation science and clinical informatics, the purpose of this project is to optimise this precision medicine model of care, ensure it is primed for cost-effective scale-up and sustainability, and improve outcomes for underserved Australian cancer patients and families.
The role of Post-Doctoral Fellow reports to Associate Professor Natalie Taylor, the Implementation to Impact Hub (i2i) lead,, and has no direct reports.
Who You Are:
- A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting applied health services research.
- Experience or keen interest in implementation science.
- Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake high quality mixed methods academic research and conduct independent research with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated track record of publications and conference presentations relative to opportunity.
- Demonstrated experience in working on complex projects with multiple overlapping components.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships.
- Evidence of highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
