Aspect Personnel are currently working with an organisation in the education sector to recruit an ESM Advisor / Project Manager for an initial 3 month contract.

You will manage the delivery of a portfolio maintenance and minor works projects within the education sector.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct inspections and audits of building essential safety measures (ESM) systems, including fire detection and alarm systems, emergency lighting, and fire hydrants
  • Provide recommendations and advice on ESM compliance and maintenance
  • Prepare reports and documentation on ESM inspections and audits
  • Maintain accurate records of ESM systems and conduct regular checks to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Coordinate ESM upgrades and maintenance

Requirements:


  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations, including the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and the National Construction Code (NCC)
  • Proven experience as an Essential Safety Measures Advisor or similar role
  • Ability to conduct thorough inspections and audits of ESM systems
  • Excellent report writing and documentation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
