Job tasks and Responsibilities for ELICOS Trainer

Develop and deliver General English lesson plans with clear objectives to address the 4 macroskills
Systematically record all students' performance and achievement.
Create an engaging and very positive learning environment for all students
Participating in scheduled professional development activities
Optimising student engagement consistently at all times
Fostering a positive and professional rapport is maintained with the students at all times
Implement strategies to motivate student learning
Adhere to the teachingrelated administrative task.
Any other related tasks as required by your reporting manager.

Skills and Experience

A recognised degree or diploma of at least three years fulltime or equivalent (teaching or other)
A recognised and suitable TESOL qualification that contains TESOL as a method e

g:
Masters in TESOL, Certificate IV or CELTA/DELTA

Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching at a college in Australia or formally mentored by a senior staff member with this experience
Experience in managing and teaching ELICOS programmes
Ability to work effectively in a team and holds strong interpersonal and communication skills Indepth knowledge of the ELICOS National Standards
Ability to be creative and be able to improvise and enliven the General English planned lessons
Authorisation to work in Australia
