This position operates within Financial Services Customer, Client Investment Operations Sub-Program which provides advice and investment options for the Public Trustee and its customers.

The specific role will be to manage the activities associated with the implementation of recommendations of Statements of Advice, the administration of superannuation holdings, and client investments outside of the Common Fund.

Mandatory/Desirable requirements
Relevant tertiary qualifications or RG146 will be well considered.


Your key responsibilities include:


  • Lead, manage, support and monitor the performance of staff in accordance with legislative requirements, contemporary Human Resource practices, Government Directives, principles and office policies.
  • Manage the implementation of recommendations of Statements of Advice, and of recommendations conducted internally, in accordance with office policies and procedures.
  • Manage the administration of the client's investment holdings, including direct equities, fixed interest securities, external managed funds, and superannuation funds.
  • Manage investment related information systems and associated internal controls.
  • Ownership of the internal control and operational risk environments of the Investment Administration functions including Client Investments
  • Ownership of key operational relationships with third party providers and management of service level agreements, for example, stockbrokers and superannuation service providers
  • Contributing to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical
  • Keeping yourself and others safe and well
  • Other duties as required.
