ABOUT THE ROLE
Main responsibilities
- In conjunction with Global Senior Brand Manager (GSBM) identify market gaps based on intimate understanding of retailer and competitor activity.
- Work closely with the product team and GSBM to define line plan architecture.
- Drive annual budget planning for brand portfolio and ensure monthly maintenance and reporting is done on time and identify where cost efficiencies can be gained.
- Drive analysis of target pricing, margin, and seasonal forecasts to aid discussions around the brand PNL each season.
- Deliver seasonal concept, model review decks & sales summit presentation decks /sizzles.
- Provide regular and consistent communication regarding product development, brand plans, assets, and global strategies to implement.
- Ensure all internal planning tools are up to date including the Global Launch Calendar each season.
- Provide timely feedback to external agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure advertising and content briefs are completed on time and with sign off from key partners. In addition to managing end to end marketing assets.
- Work collaboratively with US, other DTR and EXPORT markets to ensure there is a robust trade strategy including point of purchase material.

- Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills and applies this expertise accordingly.
- Able to adapt to new technology quickly and is adept with digital and social platforms and campaign management.
- Experienced in building brand profiles, campaigns and audience segmentation, and is competent in reading data and able to extract key trends / learnings and communicate.
- Exposure to working with consumer product retailers and able to create leading trade campaigns.
- Communicates for impact, clarity and connection.
- Enjoys working in a fast paced and agile environment.
- A minimum of 3 years in a marketing team in a similar role.
- Must hold tertiary qualifications in a related field e.g., Bachelor of Marketing.
- Experience or knowledge of the toy industry and consumer marketing to children would be highly regarded.
- Preferable, but not mandatory, experience in consumer insights, product and packaging development.
